Please note this message was given to the visionary Ivan Dragicevic atop apparition hill on the 30th Anniversary of Our Lady’s first appearance in Medjugorje (June 24, 1981). While praying the mysteries of the Holy Rosray, pilgrims present experienced a dramatic thunder and lightning storm which lasted 15 minutes and ceased as soon as the apparition began. Ivan said Our Lady came very happy and joyful, dressed in all gold and accompanied by three angels.
Note that although June 24th, 1981 is the actual anniversary of Our Lady’s first appearance on Apparition Hill in Medjugorje, the Blessed Virgin has requested we celebrate the Anniversary of her apparitions instead on June 25th.
