Proverbs 30:5-9

5Every word of God proves true; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. 6Do not add to his words, lest he rebuke you, and you be found a liar. 7Two things I ask of thee; deny them not to me before I die: 8Remove far from me falsehood and lying; give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with the food that is needful for me, 9lest I be full, and deny thee, and say, “Who is the LORD?” or lest I be poor, and steal, and profane the name of my God.

Psalms 119:29, 72, 89, 101, 104, 163

29Put false ways far from me; and graciously teach me thy law! 72The law of thy mouth is better to me than thousands of gold and silver pieces. 89For ever, O LORD, thy word is firmly fixed in the heavens. 101I hold back my feet from every evil way, in order to keep thy word. 104Through thy precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way. 163I hate and abhor falsehood, but I love thy law.

Luke 9:1-6

1And he called the twelve together and gave them power and authority over all demons and to cure diseases, 2and he sent them out to preach the kingdom of God and to heal. 3And he said to them, “Take nothing for your journey, no staff, nor bag, nor bread, nor money; and do not have two tunics. 4And whatever house you enter, stay there, and from there depart. 5And wherever they do not receive you, when you leave that town shake off the dust from your feet as a testimony against them.” 6And they departed and went through the villages, preaching the gospel and healing everywhere.
