According to Ivan, the Virgin Mary will bless all online viewers who pray along and follow the apparition, as if they had been physically present. Photo: gebetsaktion.at A six-digit number of people from all over the world will be praying in front of their computers when Medjugorje visionary Ivan Dragicevic’s apparition on November 17 in Vienna, Austria, is being live-streamed in English and Spanish by MaryTV, and in German by Kathnet. Transmission will begin at 4 pm local time (GMT +1), equaling 10 am EST. The Rosary will be prayed from about 5 pm local time (11 am EST) before Ivan’s apparition at 5.40 (11.40 am EST). MaryTV had 398,546 online viewers when Ivan last visited the Viennese Cathedral, on September 23rd 2010 along with fellow visionary Marija Pavlovic-Lunetti. Many were attracted by two unique charactereristics of the live-streamed apparitions. But has mankind responded to the grace as it ought to? Visionary Ivan Dragicevic asks this and other questions, but leaves the answers open in a retrospective talk for the 30th anniversary of the apparitions. Ivan also announces “physical changes in the world” and says humanity is standing at a great crossroads before a new future. Visionary Ivan Dragicevic departed from his usual witnessing style when he marked the 30th anniversary of the Virgin Mary’s apparitions in a lecture on Friday. While sticking to the degree of acceptance of the Virgin Mary’s messages, an often-mentioned topic of his, he also turned unusually prophetic: “These apparitions of Our Lady are a great crossroads for humanity, a new call, a new way, a new future for mankind. But how aware are we of the messages? Do they go to our heart? Do we live them? For thirty years we have had a message, you could say, each day from Our Lady. Can we live these messages in one life time?” Ivan said. “For a few years we had a message every Thursday and then we had a message once a month. Why? Our Lady was giving us more time to understand each message. It is important to use our time well, to live the messages”. The apparitions in Medjugorje can neither be limited by time, nor by space, the Croatian newspaper Slobodna Dalmacija reports from the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Virgin Mary’s apparitions. Nor by any kind of number, one could almost add. According to the newspaper Vecernji List, a record number of just about 100,000 pilgrims make sure a number of other records are also being broken these days: Number of countries the pilgrims have arrived from (more than 100 on all continents), and number of languages in which Masses are being celebrated (more than 20). The great influx of pilgrims sets new secular records as well. Below is a transcript of the conversation which took place between Adele and Our Blessed Mother on October 9th, 1859 in the woods of Robinsonville, Wisconsin. The small, unincorporated town was renamed “Champion” in honor of Sister Adele as 12 years to the date after her apparition thousands were miraculously spared from the Peshtigo Fire by taking refuge at the chapel built to commemorate the apparition site. The Peshtigo Fire is still to date the worst natural disaster in U.S. history having destroyed 1.2 million acres of land. Adele: “In God’s name, who are you and what do you want of me?” Blessed Virgin Mary: “I am the Queen of Heaven, who prays for the conversion of sinners, and I wish you to do the same. You received Holy Communion this morning, and that is well. But you must do more. Make a general confession, and offer Communion for the conversion of sinners. If they do not convert and do penance, my Son will be obliged to punish them.” Adele’s Friend 1: “Adele, who is it?” Adele’s Friend 2: “O why can’t we see her as you do?” Adele (to her friends): Kneel. The Lady says she is the Queen of Heaven. Blessed Virgin Mary: “Blessed are they that believe without seeing. What are you doing here in idleness…while your companions are working in the vineyard of my Son?” Adele: “What more can I do, dear Lady?” Adele began to weep. Blessed Virgin Mary: “Gather the children in this wild country and teach them what they should know for salvation.” Adele: “But how shall I teach them who know so little myself?” Blessed Virgin Mary: “Teach them their catechism, how to sign themselves with the sign of the Cross, and how to approach the sacraments; that is what I wish you to do. Go and fear nothing.
